Recruitment Operations Manager

MAJOR PURPOSE OF POSITION
Directly reporting to the Director of Legal Recruitment/Diversity Officer, the Recruitment Operations Manager will assist in affording equal employment to all employees and applicants. The Recruitment Operations Manager will assist in hiring and retaining a workforce that reflects as much as possible the diversity of the labor force from which the Society is able to recruit while enhancing the Society's effectiveness in working with a highly diverse client community.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversees internal and external postings for the Society to ensure clarity of content and monitors
expiration dates and communicates with external partners regarding the pendency of postings
• Coordinates hiring throughout all Practice areas, units, and departments
• Schedules first round interviews where applicable
• Maintains/manages a centralized Applicant Tracking System and manages Diversity and related data for the intake of applications
• Schedules and registers for on campus interviews ("OCIs")
• Organizes training for Supervisors and Staff Attorneys participating in Society recruitment efforts to deal effectively with issues that arise in the recruitment process, including diversity issues
• In conjunction with the Director of Recruitment/Diversity Officer, meets regularly with working committees to discuss interviews and applications
• Coordinates the intern hiring process
• Verifies background information for applicants where applicable
• Culls diversity data and provides daily tally regarding resume intake from recruitment email accounts.
• Follows up with applicants as necessary
• Serves as a liaison with law schools on the placement of law graduates
• Responsible for timely creation and delivery of offer letters
• Corresponds with and updates applicants throughout the hiring process
• Orients incoming employees on employment policies
SECONDARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
• College degree
• Excellent ability to meet deadlines, make customer service a priority, and work under pressure
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Computer proficiency: must be familiar with MS Office and the internet and must have the ability to produce reports using MS Excel (MS Office Suite and internet)
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Knowledge of EEO guidelines is a plus
