Senior Steel Detailer/Draftsperson
Capricorn Engineering and Drafting Services is a local drafting business specialising in Mining/Industrial, Commercial and Residential drafting.
Due to an increase in workload, we are seeking to employ an experienced Senior Steel Detailer/Draftsperson to join the team in our Yeppoon office.
The Senior Steel Detailer/Draftsperson's responsibilities will be to:
* Develop detailed design and fabrication drawings.
* Co-ordinate and consult with consultants and other drafters to resolve design issues and other problems.
To be considered you must demonstrate the following:
* Minimum of 4 years experience in Structural Steel Detailing
* Possess a high level of computer skills especially with Microsoft Office, Revit, AutoCAD and StruCAD
* Knowledge of structural steel fabrication and installation procedures
* Good understanding of architectural and structural drawings
* Effective communication skills including - written, verbal and listening
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent time management skills
* Demonstrate great work ethics
* Leadership qualities and are self motivated
* Willingness to accept responsibilities
