Activities...
• Design intricate 3D Solidworks CAD designs
• Thoroughly scrutinize designs to detect flaws prior to machining
• Administer revisions to rectify anomalies, discrepancies, inconsistencies or irregularities
• Ensure appropriate geometric tolerances are entirely correct
• Able to use 3D measuring instruments
• Prompt, reliable, efficient & ability to effectively work unsupervised
• Have a professional attitude and a sound work ethic
• Not essential, however a candidate who is conversant in Heidenhain iTNC- series control language would be a nice to have
The Person...
• Trade certificate level or higher
• CAD skills (including minimum 12 months experience in 3D Solidworks)
• Familiarity with 5-Axis CNC machining
• Strong attention to detail
• Unwavering focus on precision
• Good mechanical engineering aptitude and strong problem solving abilities
• Enjoy working as part of a team; however you have the confidence to work independently
• Positive outlook and well organized
• You have a proactive and responsive attitude to customer’s needs and are flexible with respect to working hours as the position may require support during non-regular business hours

You must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian Permanent Residency Visa to be eligible to apply for this position.
