Job Description:
Miscellaneous steel fabrication company is seeking a miscellaneous detailer with a minimum of 5 years detailing experience. Candidate must have the ability to interpret architectural, structural drawings, and specifications and translate them into accurate drawings for fabrication and erection. Candidate must know Tekla and Auto-cad. This is an in-house position only.
Job Requirements: Minimum 5 years of detailing experience and strong Auto-cad computer skills. Candidate must be able to handle all aspects of detailing for miscellaneous projects and have experience with columns, beams, stairs, and rail detailing for fabrication and shop drawings. Responsible for preparation of RFI's, initiate change orders, advanced bill of materials and detailed drawings. Proficiency in calculation elevations and dimensions from design drawings required. Knowledge of industry codes, specifications, and standards is imperative. Candidate must supply work examples and verifiable references. They must currently be authorized to legally work in the United States.
