Are you a Technical Writer with a strong understanding of equipment and electronics?

You are the sole technical writer in the company – diverse role
- Parts manual, Operations Manual, Specifications
-Can you be the “Go-to” person for writing manuals?

This role is within a large and multidisciplinary design and engineering house within the Subsea market. You will be the sole person in charge of writing and documenting the technical manuals and maintenance schedules.

You have strong skills in software packages and using Microsoft Word and writing technically specific documents for people from all backgrounds. To attain the information you require in your manuals, you will access the CAD packages and drawings available from the drafters and designers. You will also work closely with the engineers to determine how the equipment and tooling was built and which equipment was used in fabrication. Your role will also include speaking with all staff on the workshop floor including welders, fitters and the purchasing team.

The priority firstly will be the parts manuals and operations manuals, along with specifications. In future you will be able to design training manuals and other packages relating to new softwares and maintenance. Any other technical writing or area in which you can use your skills and experience you will be able to use as you see fit.

You will have approximately 5 years experience in a Technical Writer role. Ideally you have experience working with or are comfortable on a workshop floor. You have a strong understanding of electronics and mechanics and potentially you have a workshop at home or other hobbies that are very hands-on.

Structures / Riser Support Structure (RSS) Installation Engineer

INPEX is currently recruiting for a Structures/Riser Support Structures (RSS) Installation Engineer. The primary objective of this position is to provide support to the Umbilicals Risers and Flowlines (URF) Group, for RSS and structures installation area, throughout the design, fabrication, load out, transport and installation phases. Act as technical authority within the URF Package for RSS / structures installation related activities and assume responsibility on behalf of the URF Installation Manager for implementation of all matters relating to the correct and complete RSS / structures installation scope within the URF EPCI Contract..

Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
* Represent URF Group in relation to technical installation related issues surrounding the RSS / structures, in conjunction with other senior discipline engineers, at both internal and external meetings.
* Assist URF Installation Manager as required.
* Provide reporting function towards URF Installation Manager for the RSS and all subsea structures.
* Preparation of INPEX project documentation.
* Review and comment internal INPEX project documentation and external consultant / contractor project documentation.
* Become thoroughly conversant with project documentation, specifications and procedures.
* Monitor all facets of RSS / structures installation work to ensure that project schedule, budget and technical requirements have, as a minimum, been met or improved upon.
* Bring to earliest attention of URF Installation Manager any RSS and subsea structures issues which present a significant threat to the URF Package and offer mitigating measures / work plan.
* Technical Authority for RSS / structures load out, transport and installation and ensure industry best practice principles are applied to project.
* Ensure development of a cohesive and fit for purpose URF Package that is related to RSS / structures loadout, transport and installation scope of work.
* Ensure load out, transport and installation of the RSS / structures is to applicable codes, standards and quality requirements.
* Lead / participate in reviews, HAZID / ENVID, Constructability, load out, transport and installation review workshops etc.
* Resolve RSS / structures load out, transport and installation related interface issues and technical queries.
* Provide technical leadership for all aspects RSS / structures load out, transport and installation activities.
* Anticipate, identify and resolve detailed RSS / structures technical installation related issues in an efficient and cost effective manner.
* Define, monitor and manage work tasks with external consultants / contractors as required.
The following Qualifications and Experience are a requirement of this position:
* Tertiary engineering qualifications.
* 10 years + experience in subsea structures jacket load out, transport and installation within the Oil and Gas Industry.
* Proven track record holding similar position within other projects for the load-out, transportation and installation of subsea strucures / jackets / foundations.

Job Description:

A strategic client of Huth Technologies, LLC currently has an opening for a Steel Detatiler to join them on a full time basis at their Pittsburgh Pa location.

Primary responsibility is to create shop drawings for fabrication in the facility. Drawings are based on architectural drawings provided by the projects owner or project engineer/architect.
Company fabricates structural steel, plate steel, miscellaneous metal and rebar. Individual will be detailing structural steel and miscellaneous metals (stairs, rail, catwalks, ladders, etc.)

IT Curriculum Consultant LAYC Career Academy

Overview:
The LAYC Career Academy is seeking an experienced curriculum developer to create a curriculum that will prepare our target student body of disconnected youth, ages 16-24, to pass the A+ Certification Exam and to succeed in a career in Information Technology.

School Description:
The LAYC Career Academy sets high expectations for disconnected youth, 16-24 years of age, by providing a college preparatory GED curriculum and the opportunity to gain college credits before graduation. The school is built upon the central beliefs that:
• All youth can and must obtain either a college degree or industry-recognized credential.
• Students grow by recognizing their own strengths, using them to overcome obstacles, and setting and achieving ambitious academic and career goals.
• Disconnected youth will succeed academically and personally with the help of high-quality, culturally appropriate education and support services.
All graduates will complete a college preparatory curriculum that is aligned to Common Core State Standards and pass the GED exam. The Communications and Donor Relations (CDR) Coordinator develops and coordinates implementation of the communications and donor relations strategy for MCC EC. The CDR Coordinator provides leadership for the communications and donor relations activities that deepen constituent awareness of MCCs programs and how
constituents may get involved, including a specific focus on the generation of financial resources. In coordinating communications, this individual must be familiar with the range of resources available to tell the MCC story and the communication channels available to MCC at national/regional levels and ensure that the communication is timely, effective and appropriate. In coordinating donor relations, this position plays a central role in communicating the global and domestic ministries of MCC to the constituency and public within the East Coast region. This individual must be acquainted with MCC projects and financial needs and be ready to link donors and constituent groups to appropriate requests. This role would require regular visits to connect with staff in the MCC Ephrata office.
Qualifications:
BA or equivalent experience (preferably in Business, Communications or a related field)
3-5 years experience in management, communications, donor relations or budgeting/planning
Experience in database skills and project management, proficiency in MS Office
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and coordinate multiple priorities with teammates simultaneously
Demonstrated understanding of Anabaptist perspectives and constituent groups
Excellent oral and written communication skills, experience in media relations and messaging as well as an awareness of branding
Experience working in cross-cultural or diverse settings
