 DescriptionAmbassador Steel, a division of Harris Rebar, is seeking a Rebar Detailer to meet our expanding needs in our Waukesha, WI location. The Rebar Detailer position is a critical technical function in our rebar fabrication business. Detailers are responsible for the creation of rebar placing drawings and material orders for reinforcing steel and related products on our construction projects.

 Requirements

Candidates must have:

• Have Microstation or Autocad experience
• Have three to five years rebar detailing experience
• Work as part of a team in an office environment
• Be able to develop relationships with key customers
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Have knowledge of reinforcing steel terms and concepts
• Posses excellent communication and time management skills
• Be able to read and understand structural drawings

Additional experience or knowledge in these areas is a plus:

• Independent judgment, excellent organization skills
• Flexible to coordinate multiple projects
• Experience (including jobsite) working with or for concrete contractors, general contractors and rebar placers
• 3D modeling in Revit / Tekla or any other modeling product

Industrial Project Management seems like a lucrative term and indeed it is however it requires deep knowledge and expertise.
