Responsibilities:

  • To provide on-site clinical support and consultation with an emphasis on safety and clinical risk management.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage in relationship building with designated individuals served by the team.
  • Case management of designated individuals Individual Action Plan (IAP) development for designated individuals according to Bay Cove Human Services, CARF, Medicaid Rehab Option, and Dept. of Mental Health licensing regulations including Performance Based Contracting Standards Provide clinical expertise and support to the team by facilitating ongoing compliance with this IAP.
  • Make assessments, write progress notes, enter data, and review progress in accordance with Performance Based Treatment Standards.
  • Review each assigned individual records on an ongoing basis, as needed, minimally at least twice a year.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • BA or MA/MS preferred (degree requirement can be waived with sufficient experience and writing ability).Supervision hours can be provided to those seeking LMHC or LICSW licensure.
  • Two years direct care experience providing services to adults with mental illness.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in word processing and other computer functions.

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER oversees Lark's successful and growing fundraising program raising $1 million annually. As a play laboratory organization, not a traditional producing theater, Lark's budget is 98% contributed revenue so this position is a crucial part of Lark's fundraising team consisting of the Artistic and Managing directors, Development Associate, outside fundraising counsel, and event producer. This position has growth potential and is ideal for someone with an interest in development and supporting individual artists as well as an interest in growing the department as Lark grows.

Primary Focus: This position is responsible for stewarding Lark's primary initiatives focused on building our major donor base in addition to monitoring all development activities.

Reports to: Managing Director

Manages: a Development Associate and a part-time intern

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the annual work plan and grants calendar for individual and institutional giving, including tracking and monitoring of all cultivations, solicitations, applications and reports
  • Oversee two annual appeals (both paper and electronic)
  • Draft numerous annual and one-time grant proposals and reports to private and corporate foundations, U.S. and foreign governments
  • Draft major donor correspondence
  • Drive weekly fundraising team meetings and annual strategy planning meetings.
  • Interface with individual artists and partner organizations in creating grants and reports
  • Oversee gifts processing and acknowledgment executed by the Development Assistant
  • Implement one or two donor cultivation events annually
  • Interact with Board members during annual appeal and manage board Event Committee as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years professional hands-on experience in fundraising
  • Superb writing skills and track record in writing proposals and donor requests
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment, shepherding the process of grant writing
  • Ability to manage up with a collaborative and respectful style.
  • Ability to synthesize information from notes and conversations into well-crafted grants and correspondence language
  • Impeccable organizational skills and very detail oriented; ability to juggle many priorities and shifting work plans.
  • Multi-tasker in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player who likes to work as part of a growing, integrated staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel including fast typing skills
  • Experience with fundraising database highly desired; knowledge of database architecture a plus
  • Development experience in theater or the arts a plus

We seek a Communications Coordinator to help with the organization's media work, events, publications, website, and public advocacy.

The Communications Coordinator works with the Director and the Deputy Director of Communications and Brennan Center staff to maintain an energetic communications department that can speak strategically, as well as quickly and effectively, to mass audiences and members of the press.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Proactive Media Relations – Cultivating press contacts, drafting and distributing/placing public communications such as press releases, op-eds, letters, short statements, and remarks
  • Reactive Media Relations – Fielding and managing incoming media requests for the Center's leaders and experts, responding to requests for information and arranging interviews and other media opportunities for Brennan Center experts
  • Producing and Promoting Publications – End-to-end project management and promotion of Brennan Center reports and other work products, including development of release strategies, copy editing, and coordinating with graphic designers, printers, and other contractors as necessary
  • Helping craft - and execute - communications strategies
  • Events – Assisting with all aspects of event planning

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelors or advanced degree
